LIMA Saturday 06 LIMA (lunch & dinner)
City tour in Colonial Lima in private service, this visit includes the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral and its museum, the San Francisco Convent and its catacombs, the San Martin Plaza , the Osambela Residence and the Santo Domingo Church . Transfer for Lunch at La Mar Restaurant . Free afternoon to visit local arts crafts stores and designers. A private car will be provided for you convenience. In the night I am inviting you to dinner at Astrid & Gaston Restaurant; it's located in Miraflores and is one Lima 's best Restaurant; its chef is considered an icon here in Peru . Sunday 07 LIMA MANCORA (breakfast) In the morning visit local stores, art galleries and design shops. A private car will be provided for you convenience.
In the afternoon transfer to the airport, flight to Tumbes, aprox: 1hr 15min, reception at the airport and transfer to Sunset Hotel & Restaurant. A sea front boutique hotel with only 6 rooms that can be hired as a private residence. It has direct access to the warm sands; its gourmet restaurant offers the best Peruvian local dishes, based on excellent fish and sea foods. Located at Las Pocitas in Mancora Beach . The beach is covered with natural rocks that form pocitas or little ponds that when there is low tide are wonderful to stay in for hours enjoying a pina colada or just the sun. Saturday 13 LIMA - CUSCO (breakfast) Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco . Upon arrival transfer to the Monasterio Hotel in Cusco 5* Morning at leisure to get used to the altitude.
In the afternoon private visit to the ruins nearby Cusco, the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, overlooking the city of Cusco, a pre Inca architectural masterpiece, Kenko a rock sanctuary whose main attraction is a monolithic altar representing a puma and the red Fortress of Puca-Pucara. Return to the hotel and overnight. Some very renowned Peruvian chefs have set foot in Cusco and successfully mixed the Andean ingredients with a unique touch. In result, some of the best dishes that only this part of the world will offer are served. I recommend for tonight a casual dinner at the Inka Grill Restaurant where your host and owner, Rafael Cassabone, already expects you. Sunday 14 CUSCO (breakfast) Free day to wonder around this beautiful town and meet with local artisan, the neighborhood of San Blas is a great place to do this. Lunch could be very good in the Pacha Pappa Restaurant in San Blas. The San Blas area is walking distance from the plaza; it's a very beautiful area. In the afternoon Los Perros Bar is a nice place to settle down for a while, read a book and drink a Te, coffee or glass of wine. Monday 15 CUSCO SACRED VALLEY (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
In the morning transfer the Sacred Valley to visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo, pick up from the hotel; visit the town with its many houses that date back to Inca times. Other homes were constructed with the stones left by the Inca civilization. Before entering the fortress of Ollantaytambo we put on warm clothing, since the wind causes the temperature to drop sharply at the top of the fortress. Our guide will show us around the ruins, constructed with some of the largest stones in the Inca Empire. Lunch will be arranged at the Tunupa Restaurant, buffet lunch. In the afternoon visit the Seminario Studio, http://www.ceramicaseminario.com this artist is considered today as the first clay artisan in Peru . Transfer to Hotel Casa Andina Private Collection 4**** Tuesday 16 SACRED VALLEY MACHU PICCHU (breakfast & Lunch) Transfer to Cuzco Rail Station in Ollanta and departure in the Vistadome Train tour to Machu Picchu . Arrival in Aguas Calientes Station, transfer to the Machu Picchu Inn Hotel, later bus ride up to the ruins (25 minutes). Private guided visit of Machu Picchu which is totally built of stone blocks, fitted with masterful precision. This fabulous city has houses, temples, warehouses, a large central square, all connected by narrow roads and steps, and is surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side which were used for agriculture. Lunch Included Accommodation at the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel 5***** Overnight. Wednesday 17 MACHU PICCHU CUSCO (breakfast & lunch ) Breakfast in the morning, second bus and entrance to Machu Picchu . Free visit to the ruins. In the afternoon transfer to the train station. Lunch at the Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel. Vistadome train back to Cusco . Transfer to Monasterio Hotel 5*****
Tonight I recommend dinner at the MAP Restaurant, it's located in the Plaza Nazarenas and its chef is considered one of the best in Peru; he owns three other restaurants in Cusco and one in Lima. For an after dinner drink, The Big Blue Martini Sofa Bar has one of Peru 's best Cosmopolitans and Apple Martini. It's located two blocks from the main Plaza. Just ask anyone at the MAP Restaurant. At the Bar let them know you come with Visit Cusco for special attention !!! Thursday 18 CUSCO LIMA - USA (breakfast) Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning transfer to the airport. Flight to Lima and transfer to Miraflores Park Plaza 5* Van at your complete order to visit the local artisans and designers.
