DAY 01
LIMA

Arrival in Lima , reception and transfer to the hotel Sonesta Posada del Inca Miraflores or Casa

DAY 02
LIMA (B, L)

In the morning visit to the Cathedral, the Main Square, San Francisco Convent and its Catacombs, the Inquisition Court, the residential areas of San Isidro, Miraflores, the new commercial area south of Lima, the ocean front to enjoy a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. 13.00 pick up and transfer to Lunch at restaurant “Rosa Nautica” Return to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 03
LIMA – CUSCO (B)

Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Depart by plane to Cuzco Upon arrival in Cuzco reception and transfer to Casa Andina Cusco Hotel. Rest of the morning at leisure to get used to the altitude

DAY 04
CUSCO (B)

Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, a pre-Inca architectural masterpiece, overlooking the city of Cuzco, Qenqo, a rock sanctuary which main attraction a monolithic altar representing a puma; the red Fortress of Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay, a beautiful fountain fed by a spring forming a series of basins. Continue to the Main Square, the Cathedral with its museum, and the Santo Domingo Church or Koricancha, the Temple to the Sun during Inca times. Return to the hotel and overnight

DAY 05
CUSCO – INCA TRAIL (B, BL, D)

Between 4:00 and 4:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in our own private bus. We will then drive to Piskacuchu (2700 masl), a community located on the 82nd kilometer of the Cusco –Machupicchu railroad. Starting at this point, we will cross the bridge and walk along the left shore of the Urubamba River as it flows north-west along the Sacred Valley. Following the trail along a flat terrain, we will arrive in Miskay (2800 masl), to then ascend and finally see, from the tallest part of an overlook, the Inca city of Patallacta (2750 masl). We will continue trekking along the valley created by the Kusichaca river, gradually climbing for about five hours until we reach our first campsite in the Wayllabamba village (3000 masl). All along the way we will see spectacular views of the Vilcanota ridge on the opposite side of the Urubamba River, where the impressive Veronica peak reigns at 5832 meters above sea level. Not to mention the diversity of wild flora and fauna that can be found all along the valley
